As a coordinator and inspector of personal fall protection in the Work Environment & Health section, you will be an expert resource supporting the business regarding personal fall protection. Through competent advice, you contribute to ensuring that the business complies with the Swedish Work Environment Authority's regulations and legal requirements for fall protection and fall protection equipment. You also contribute to preventive risk work.

You will lead the work of calling in and conducting inspections of personal fall protection equipment, which means you will have many contact points throughout our exciting operations. You have an important role in ensuring that we offer and conduct current training within the framework of fall protection and work in confined spaces.

Your main responsibilities

• Support the business regarding personal fall protection.
• Plan the annual cycle for inspection of personal fall protection equipment.
• Call in personal fall protection equipment, inspect and document.
• Order fall protection products.
• Coordinate training within the framework of fall protection and confined spaces.
• Set requirements for training providers and quality-assure training content.
• Be a resource at training sessions on fall protection and confined spaces.

About you

• We prefer if you have completed fall protection training and training for confined spaces.
• You have knowledge of labor legislation, with a focus on personal protective equipment.
• It is a merit if you have good knowledge of the facilities within SSAB's area.
• You have good social skills and pedagogical competence.
• It is a merit if you have completed the competent person training according to EN 365 (inspect personal fall protection equipment).
